Meet Sean & Katie
Hello! We are Sean and Katie, and we purchased Glenan Lodge in July 2026. We met in 2016 while we were both living in Prague, Czech Republic. We then moved to Liverpool, followed by Oxford, before deciding that we wanted to make the big Highland move north! Until we took over Glenan Lodge, we were both working more traditional office jobs and were ready for a change. Sean is originally from the south of England and Katie is from New York State, so we are both non-Highlanders with a love and passion for this region of Scotland. We love sharing our favourite place on earth with our guests!
The vision for Glenan Lodge
After spending years traveling all over the world, we are so excited to bring our vision for the perfect accommodation to life. We want Glenan Lodge to be an unpretentious, luxury guesthouse that anyone will feel comfortable visiting. The best part of a guesthouse is the friendliness and cosiness that most hotels fail to offer. This, combined with high-quality linens & towels, products, and customer service makes Glenan Lodge the perfect base from which to explore the Scottish Highlands.
