We are perfectly positioned for guests to explore the Scottish Highlands; we’re minutes away from the Cairngorms National Park, Inverness, and more castles, golf courses, and historical sites than you can possibly fit into your itinerary! Whether you’re here for walking, cycling on the National Route 7 directly through our village, exploring Outlander sites at Culloden or Inverness, tasting your way through the world’s best whisky region, or anything in between, we will help you plan the perfect trip.
The perfect countryside retreat
The beauty of Glenan Lodge is its remote location. Located just outside of Cairngorms National Park, we have mountains surrounding us. The property is backed by what’s classified as Ancient Woodland, so you will be surrounded by mature trees, moors, and rolling hills. Our neighbours are bunnies and sheep (aside from the distillery!), making a walk through Tomatin truly picturesque.
Sit back and relax with a dram of whisky in our lounge or bar in front of a roaring fire, and soak up a bit of Scottish peace and tranquility.
Personalised service
While you’re our guest at Glenan Lodge, our aim is to make your stay special and memorable. We can offer the following services to help curate your Highlands retreat:
- Flowers, wine or whisky left in your room to help celebrate a special occasion
- A grocery hamper prepared on arrival
- A guided whisky tasting (available from spring 2027)
- Afternoon tea served fireside in our lounge (available from spring 2027)
